Difficult one - I tend to listen to a fair few pieces during the day.

A damn irritating man in the office - he wears half a bottle of aftershave (cheap nasty stuff) and has just been standing near me to use the scanner. :grr:

7 Being homeless after I got hurt and couldn't work for a while. That was definitely the most significant experience of my life. You've never realized how alone you are until your supposed family and friends turn their back and you end up on the street.

67. I've smelled women's perfume and have been the only woman

in the room at one place we were invited to. The smell was not there a few minutes beforehand.

I've heard things that just sounded odd. Voices that sounded whispered but in the same room as you, doors pushed open that shouldn't have come open, etc. The creepiest experience was before I became interested in looking for it. I lived in a dorm that had a few "problems" and my room seemed to be the vortex of all the problems, according to alumni and things that happened to myself and my room mate.

Ghosthunting is so easy to get involved in. Check out any forums for ghost hunters or a local paranormal society in your area. Many times they will be only too happy to have someone go along for the ride. You can buy equipment but the best is good ears and eyes, a thermometer and the ability to be both open and skeptical. Most of the time there is nothing there but occasionally...you start to question what really happens after death. I wonder if places have traces of past events and people that seem to stick w/ them.

We have quite a few places in my area that are supposedly haunted. I'm thinking about getting a group together and joining it w/ a group about 45 minutes from me that has all the equipment. If initial observation shows that something is strange and cannot be explained away(creaking stairs, house settling, bad pipes, allergies-tons of reasons for it) then we could call in the other group and have them come down w/ recorders and cameras to check it out.

It's a great hobby and a way to meet people from all walks of life.

I have had a few experiences, and sometimes when I'm alone, I wish I weren't so sensitive.

I do agree that somehow some events do stick to a place. My grandparents bought a house where someone had hung himself when I was little. I did pick up a very strong vibe in the spot where it happened prior to knowing that that was the spot.

but adrenaline definitely sets in. Have you ever had an adrenaline rush where you were shaking from it? That's what it was like the few times I've really wondered about something.

I do my best to explain everything as much as I can but a few times I haven't been able to. I'd love to go back to those places and see if I can find something again.

This family swears that their home is haunted and they have cameras in the house that are live, 24 hours a day.
I was given the site from someone in my area who is interested in ghost hunting since this house is about 30 miles from me. They don't allow the public to tour the house but they love having people watch it. They have a forum for anyone who spots anything on the cameras to post in.

Strangest supernatural experience for me was the time i dreamed about a guy I knew in high school (I was maybe 16 at the time) - he wasn't really a friend, just someone I knew. Anyway, i dreamed I was walking through the woods and came upon a cabin. The door was open so I walked in and saw this guy lying on a bed - he'd been shot in the head and was dead.

Woke up in a cold sweat, rolled over and checked the time. It was about 3 in the morning. The following day, another friend whose parents were paramedics called me all out of breath and shocked - the kid I'd dreamed about had been shot in the head at about 3 in the morning out in the woods - her parents had been called to the scene.

Except he didn't die. But it was very, very strange.

After my mother died I spoke to her ghost in a lucid dream and my son who was only six when she died saw her ghost in his bedroom four times and once in the backyard.

Love them. I used to travel all over just to ride different rollercoasters. I think the best I ever rode on where the Steel Phantom in Kennywood in PA and I still love The Cylone in Coney Island, NY. There's another tiny one in PA I rode called The Jack Rabbit. That was cool. I rode Batman at Great Adventures. It was too scary!

I played with another little girl and a little boy in my great-grandparents' house (north side of the farm) and my grandmother's house (south side of the farm) when I was a small child. I was the oldest child and grandchild, and was the only child on the farm until I was five. My family suspects that the girl was my great-great-aunt, who died of kidney disease when she was 10 (in 1921), and my great-uncle, who was killed by a fall from a farm truck when he was five (in 1951). They still seem real to me, though when I was last there, I didn't sense them.

Sometimes.

14. Do you eat at your computer desk?
Don't have one. I have a laptop, so I have a lapdesk, a rolling laptop stand, an escritoire and the dining room table. We sometimes eat supper while playing games at the dining room table, though.

I'm a writer, primarily. Other than the pay sucks, it's a great job!
