9. They could have saved the entire season... |
|
...if they had just come up with a plotline that put Dax into Lynda Carter's old 'Wonder Woman' costume.
Time warp, HoloDeck malfunction, "Planet of the '70s TV Shows", whatever.... no one would have questioned WHY!

She was gorgeous. But I think that was the whole point. You were supposed to lust after her.

We must study Team Nerd for further details.
Do we need to play D&D on the long flights to garner more nerd fans? Maybe we should wear Starfleet uniforms during the entire show.

What I'm saying is that we need support from the internet. There is a large population of nerds online so we need to get their attention and spread the true agenda-the nerd agenda.
If nerds ruled the world there would be no war. Nerds were bullied in school so they understand that violence is wrong. Universal health care would be a given-too many nerds who remember what it was like as a child w/ allergies, asthma and astigmas. There would be no discrimation d/t race, sex, orientation, etc-this goes back to bullying in high school. Education would be valued. Science fairs, quiz bowls and spelling bees would be televised-kind of like the world that they landed on one time on Sliders.
We need to promote the true agenda. Nerdom for all!

I'm a on-again, off-again Suckster and I post on a few Survivor boards. Right now I've noticed decent levels of support for them. I've also noticed some praise(equally mixed w/ scorn) for the Stoners. The scorn is because the stoners are themselves, the praise is because they are really enjoying the experience of traveling around the world and seem to work well w/ others.

Then again, it would be hard to mod a Suckster. Most have the mentality of a 13 year old boy.

43. The introduction of 7 of 9 was when I knew Star Trek, |
|
at least the Star Trek that I knew and loved, was finally and completely Bermanized.
Trek often had a certain level of T&A, but it was always creative and interesting and understated. 7 of 9 was Berman saying "What we need to make Trek more popular is tits! Lots of tits! Big ones! That's what Star Trek is about! TITS! It's all about market share, because Star Trek is all about money, and the best way to make money is TITS TITS TITS TITS."
Yeah, Berman, it was all about the tits. I think Rodenberry even said that. I know Roddenberry never respected story telling or compelling, real characters. Nope.
