3. Oh, no.
I remember the first David Hemmings film I saw ("Alfred the Great," of all things), back in the 1970s.

He's done some interesting roles, including in television, in recent years. I remember being startled to find his name the cast list for "The Gangs of New York." (Then again, practically everyone was in that!)

He will be missed.
