The tallest building ever imploded in Texas went down today |

in downtown Fort Worth.
An ugly old thing too, been empty for years. With the former Bank One (now the Tower Condo) all fixed up and pretty and this old elephant gone, skyline looks pretty neat.
No word as to what will go in its place, probably a parking lot for XTO employees at least temporarily.
When I drove past downtown FW this am it was there and when I came back south bound at 10:30, it was gone.

And that's really unclear. So, before getting flamed too badly, and in case it wasn't obvious, I'm suggesting that WTC Buildings 1, 2, and 7 were brought down by controlled demolitions. And there's nothing funny about that.
