2. Very nice....
that oranges picture is a bit suggestive though. :) Reminds me of Pamela Anderson.

Seriously... beautiful pictures.

12. 90 percent chance of snow tomorrow.
Fits right in w/ the tornadoes from last Sunday. We've already qualified for disaster relief and now the crops...don't get me started. Just be ready for high grocery bills this fall.

13. My dear Ptah!
I'm so happy to see you tonight!

I'm certainly not trying to scare anyone away with that warning!

I wish I knew the name of those blue flowers too....I do have it, but it's not handy right now!

It's a xeriscape garden....needs very little water after getting established...

Glad you like the pics! :loveya:

14. The flowers are beautiful!
But I don't know why the men think the second pic looks like bosoms. To me (since the seed of dirtiness has been planted) it looks more like something else. Something further down and decidedly male. ;-)

LOL, sweetie! But those male features aren't that color, nor are they that size!

At least, not the one pair I've encountered!

Glad you like the pictures.....Sorry, there weren't any birds in the yard for me to photograph.....

16. No, they aren't
But women's features are not that color or size either (at least none that I've encountered). :silly:

And the pictures were lovely even without the birds.

Thanks for stopping by!

I wish we had real robins out here.....

There are western robins, but I haven't seen them here in LA....

Nonetheless, spring is definitely on the way!

24. That looks great Cal Peg!....
...very nice. I went out in the yard today to start prepping it. I was removing weeds, and looked down, and saw a snake about 6 inches from my hand. It was in the upper 50's, and the damned snakes are already out.

26. Your garden looks beautiful....
...yep, the snakes are a bummer. I especially hate, like today, walking up on them when I don't know they are there, then all of the sudden, BAM, there's a snake! There's almost something in our genetic memory about reptiles.

Thanks for your nice comments on my sig-line. I tear up everytime I read that poem....:loveya:

28. Just beautiful! We've had a very early spring here.....
Daffodils are gone and irises are blooming. Azaleas are swelling, bridal wreath spirea is in full swing and dogwood is just bursting forth. My old roses have been pruned and regenerated and the wisteria is going crazy. The poppies are about an inch high and the asparagus is coming in daily.

I have turks turban, butterfly weed and butterfly bush returning with a vengeance and the most wonderful plant in the yard is just beginning to bloom. I'm talking about my 17 year old magnolia fuscata aka michaelia figo (banana shrub). It is a 15 foot tree with small blossoms that smell like ripe bananas,

over an arbor covered with akebia quintata (chocolate vine-a delightful climber that will grow in sun or shade and smells vaguely like white chocolate when in bloom

underneath all that, I have some wild strawberries my mother gave me. We call it the "banana split" bed.

I love spring....

31. Sadly, my pictures are just stolen from google images to portray
the plants I have. We're VERY technologically limited, don't have either a digital camera or a scanner and really have no idea how to use one. However, we have a young friend who has promised to teach us, its just going to be a slow process because we live in different towns.

However, my flowers are just as pretty (if not more) than the examples I posted!

32. No worries, my dear Rowdyboy!
I'm sure you will come up with splendid pics of your own, and soon!

The little point and shoot digital cameras are perfect for this sort of thing.....

And they are not hard to use, and to download into the computer, too!

I look forward to seeing YOUR pics!

Yes, spring does eventually get here........

Perhaps slowly, but as the planet turns, the seasons arrive......

They bring our hope with them.....
