Website redirect URL fails, why?

Website redirect URL fails, why?

The main site address works, but a domain I registered won't redirect to the website, instead bringing up an ad for itself.

I used whois.com and found the name is registered until May 2006 and is active.

Why can't I access my site via the redirect URL (which is easier to type in)? I think it's a technical problem on their server...
