Like I pay to listen to brats scream while I eat!
Oooh! Here's my delicious, still toasty hot kettle corn.... yum yum. Now, where the hell did my mojito go??? Ooooh! Here it is!

What's wrong with these mothers? Surely they could have just breastfed and shut the kids up.

Loud kids are annoying, but I put the fault on the parents who haven't managed to teach their children appropriate social skills. If we're talking the toddler set, then the parents are even more stunned for not removing the offending children promptly.
You probably wanted a flame fest. If you want, I can edit my title to say "fuck you".

I have a bad cold, and that might make me feel better. Or, maybe, "FUCK YOU, BITCH!"

3. Isn't it funny how threads on kids |

end up with people at such odds?
I personally hear you. I think parents who can't control their children in social situations need to learn to doo so. Those of us who haven't had any shouldn't have to listen to or tolerate them under such circumstances.
Pass the popcorn, please!!

Big difference if you went to Peter Luger's or to Friendly's.
Anyway, my son is 18 months old and is testing us with screaming. It's pretty fucking difficult. We haven't taken him to any $100/plate restaurants lately, but we do take him out.
When he screams, we take him outside, or out to the car until he's worn himself out pretty much.
But the best way to discourage screaming is not to respond to it. It's tricky.

I was lucky, as my darling child is the most darling child of all times; she is a delight in public. What's up with those screaming kids? They need someone to tell them to shut the hell up!

19. I used to be a real pain... I can remember vividly... |
|
I was also a quick learner, but those early memories can not be forgotten. Like ghosts that incessantly haunt. I hurt Mum's feelings and and inconvenienced her time... Grandma's too.
