I spent 40 minutes straightening my hair.
Turns out my hair doesn't want to be straight.

Just call me Bozo the Clown.

1. Thru the magic of DuPont and Miss Clairol
everyone can have straight hair if they are only determined enough.

2. I've had it professionally straightened once.
It wore out much faster than it was supposed to. She said that I needed a stronger formula but that it might cause it to break.

13. In Perry County, PA there is a section depleted of ozone....
..which is right over the house where I grew up.

Amazing what Aquanet can do!

15. There is probably a similar cloud over
my childhood home in Marshall, MO.

Aquanet was a godsend in the 80's!

17. Not if you had baby fine blonde hair
it would last for about 30 minutes and then gravity took it's toll

18. I have thick curly red hair.
I took numerous bathroom breaks in high school just to respray my hair. I used a can a day to get it to stay, along w/ all the mousse and gel that I could get my hands on.

The best was at lunchtime. If you stood in the middle of the crowd in the girls bathroom you could get your spray and all their spray residue on your hair at the same time!

It sucked when it came time to wash my hair. It was nothing to use almost a whole bottle of shampoo on it to get the product out!

I'd like curly hair, without the nasty chemicals. Lucky you.

4. sometimes it's just best to let it do what it's going to do
For years I tried to dry the curl out of my hair... these days it seems to want to be straight.

20. I'm never in style.
Well, I was in the 80's. I could tease it up and leave the back looking like a rat's nest.

I really miss the 80's!

14. That's what I have!
I think it's the weather. It hasn't held a style very well for the last couple of days.

I just hate looking frizzy. And all the product in my hair right now makes it look worse!

just frizzy red hair.

And I just saw a third curl forming over a spot that I spent forever on this morning! Damn it to hell!
