"2008 + Reasons to Live"
I'm a compulsive list-maker, so I've added a module in my journal titled 2008 + reasons to live. It contains the small things that'll keep me cheered up until then. I have a pretty good list so far, including:

friends
family
French roast coffee
Paris
soft pillows
Roald Dahl stories
sincere hugs
good sex
feather boas
the beach
roasted marshmallows
bertha's cat pics
scent of a campfire
daily planners
cat paws
etc---->

How about some more inspiration. What do you live for? :)

5. Oh yes
and you have more sun days in NC than we in Germany. Unfair ... but I am happy for you.

I remember when I was a nanny in Charlotte, NC, I was sitting in March at the porch, let the sun warm my face .... I had a sunburn on my nose after that :eyes:

12. I was actually born in Brooklyn.
But my family's moved around a few times. My parents immigrated to NYC, and soon after I was born, we moved to Mississippi(!).

I've been back a few times to visit, but this will be a permanent move, so I'm really excited.

Frodo (There is a Blue and Gold Macaw named Charlie who was 104 two years ago http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/3414323.stm)
Watching awe inspiring sunrises over the ocean.
Greeting the sunrise over my mountains with a fresh cup of coffee in hand.
Best friends.
Old friends that I've found again.
Traveling the open road.
Sailing.
Coffee made from beans that were just ground.
Birds.
Windy afternoons watching the waves breaking.
Awesome lovemaking.
Flowers.
Sunsets.
The smell of freshly mown grass.
Brownies baking in my oven.
Having wonderful daydreams.
Knowing that some of my daydreams can come true.

Due for release later this year or next. If you're a fan of either, you can look forward to reading them -- if you don't like the books, you can rejoice that the hoopla will finally be over (since both authors have said that there won't be any more).
