The bird in the picture's probably a second or third year bird. Not much white on the head.

3. A friend of mine had one that regularly visited her koi pond...
She eventually made a nifty little hiding place for her fish. and hasn't lost any since. :D

11. I've had one at the very edge of my patio
Watching my pond for fish. There are gorgeous birds, but I don't like them stalking my koi.
