I know it's spring not by the daffodils and crocuses, but by the ... |
|
tapeworms oozing out of my cats' behinds. YUK! DAMNIT! It was a warm end-of-winter (now of course we're getting snow) but the fleas must already be popping everywhere. AAAAARRRRGGGHHHH!!!! I've got a bunch of Advantage coming next week and thought I'd be ahead of the curve. DAMNIT!
I have 7 cats. Wanted to get them all covered early, and then keep up regularly with the four who come and go, inside/outside. Maybe I'll start keeping more inside. Wah.
A good friend who lives in Montana rarely has tick or flea problems with her pets... why oh why do I live in the South?!?!?
Kitty with worms already has had his tapeworm zapping pill, but I am just grossed out.
I hope I haven't ruined anyone's dinner by posting this.

2. it helps keep fleas and ticks away from your animals? |
|
I hate the cost of Advantage, for me with my cats it's $70 every 6 weeks or so and that adds up over the long, warm spring/summer/fall.

if the cost is prohibitive, you can just dose 1/2 your animals. advantage kills fleas & larvae on your cats & in their surroundings (bedding & resting places), so you'll def be covered over time. Cats that keep to themselves nd to be dosed singly.

5. hi - long time no see, jukes! |
|
wonder about you, hope you're well.
Cost is OK, I just don't like dumping chemicals on them all warm-weather-season long (and I'd rather use the $$ to buy them toys and treats... but will do whatever I need to do to keep them healthy).
They all mingle, except for one rather psycho/skittish calico female (but she's OK with the kittens, even as they mature).
Thanks for the info. How're you?
