The Turdidae are the thrushes, and the Turdus genus includes birds such as the American Robin and several other large Central and South American thrushes.

Actually, I thought maybe they'd changed the name on the genus (maybe because they found an alternate name with seniority -- I hate it when they do that) but then the mists of time parted in the face of your reply and I realized I mixed the dickiebirds up. Duh.

In that case, I always wanted a robin...
