OMG - a murder of crows !
(isn't that what a flock of crows is called?) is over my house right now! Looks like something out of Hitchcock. There's about 50 and they're BIG, er HUGH! Mr 'pede, the across the street neighbor guy and our respective pooches are out there now. I think I'd get under the porch, if you know what I mean.

3. Yeek. They really do creep me out.
Plus they're mean to owls, so two strikes against 'em.

5. You saw a "Roost" of crows.
One of the great animal phenomena of the world is the congregation of large numbers of birds into a single group to sleep together. Such communal sleeping groups are known as "roosts."

You saw a “roost” of crows today. I really don’t care for them myself. I might even be inclined to make it uncomfortable for them to roost in my neighborhood. They eat up to 11 ounces of food per day, 11 ounces produces plenty of bird poop!
