What size t-shirt do you think Lewis Black wears?
I am going to be meeting him tomorrow night and I am suppose to give him a Richard Pryor t-shirt, but I don't know what size.

3. He looks very tall on TV, but that can be deceiving too.
I was thinking XL. I don't want to give him one that is too small. I also don't want to give him one that is too big.

4. Any way you could take both a Large and an Xtra-Large?
That way you're sure to hit the mark.

5. XL at least
I'm about average (well, maybe a little above) and larges are tight on me.

But then again, they say the camera adds at least 15 lbs...

6. is there any way you could bring a couple of different sizes?
Edited on Fri Mar-31-06 09:38 PM by Lisa
Jon Stewart is supposedly 5'7" -- Lewis Black isn't too much taller than that, is he? I've been looking around to see if there's a pic of them standing together, for comparison -- no success.

p.s. looks like Lars39 and I had the same idea ...

7. I can take a couple of sizes. That's a good idea.
In fact I can take a couple of styles in a couple of sizes. Brilliant!

9. I've been trying to compare him to Jon Stewart ...
but there aren't many pics online of them together. (Stewart's IMDB biography says he is 5'7".) I think Lewis Black is a bit taller and stockier?

10. I just sent an email to the club owner to see if he will respond.
I hate making a big deal of this. I really just wanted to walk in, give him the shirt and a card from Mrs. Pryor and then enjoy the show or the reverse.

I don't like the owner of the club, he is jerk. In fact I have this huge (hugh) painting that was commissioned for Mrs. Pryor of Richard and was thinking of donating it to the club, but not as long as this guy is still the owner.

12. I will be seeing him perform tomorrow night in a small club.
In fact on Mr. Black's website it doesn't even mention this date, so I guess he is what Richard Pryor would say, "Woodshedding" trying out new stuff to see what works and what doesn't.

I work for the Pryor's and Jennifer asked me to take him a shirt and a card.

I can't wait to see him perform.

11. Can't go wrong with an XL
People wear tshirts in all sorts of sizes. Get one bigger than you think will fit.

PS I am SOOOOOOOoo jealous.... Enjoy your time with Mr B!

13. The one I was going to give him says...
"Kiss My Happy Black Ass" in red letters on a black shirt with a black and white image of Richard Pryor. I also have one that says, "F*#%k You Mother F*#%ker".

Did you read Mr. Black's latest book? It a memoir type. It's interesting to see how these guys end up on a stage all alone just to make us laugh.

15. Just go XL to be safe.
I don't think most guys mind a t-shirt which is a bit baggy. If he does mind it he can always shrink it in the wash.
