*huff**puff* SPIDERS *huff**puff* IN MY BRAAAIIIN!!!!!!
I dreamed I was watching a movie with AlienGirl, it was a pretty scary movie. I am reasonably sure it was about the Apocalypse, but not in a biblical sense, just in a creepy evil way. I am not sure if we were sitting in a car watching it or discussing it afterward. It was a dark and rainy. I opened my window and immediately closed it because I knew a spider would climb in. Sure enough a huge spider slid down my window looking for an opening. I looked to AlienGirl's window and her window was open. There were spiders gathering all along the roof of the car. I asked her for a tissue, so I could squish 'em. Instead she used one of those like sticky hands, you know they are sorta jelly like and tacky and you throw them and they snap back? Well she used one of those to hit spiders. I freaked out and told her I was freaking out and that I was getting out of the car. I braced myself to throw open the door and jump from the car.....

Which is how I F'd up my knee coming down on something as I leapt out of bed this morning.

3. Siggy has something important to tell you! This is HUGH!!!1!
A spider is a common symbol of mother as an object of fear or dislike and particularily in a man's dream. Freud sees it as a symbol of 'the phallic mother (big surprise), of whom we are afraid; so that the fear of spiders expresses dread of mother-incest and horror of the female genitals' (Freud's own italics). Try to get to know, not only your mother, but - more important - what your mother means to you. One way of doing this is to converse with the spider: hold it in your mind and ask it searching questions.

7. Uhhh....
No offense, but Freud is a little too hung up on phalli and mothers. I have a baseline terror of spiders. It isn't so bad when I am awake.... however I will still brak into panic atacks in real life over the right kind of spider.

When I get stressed out very badly, as I near a breakdown, I begin seeing spiders everywhere.
