Well, I'm living in a zoo now. |
|
I've relocated for the week to my aunt-in-law's house, home to more Siberian Huskies than you can shake a stick for. Obviously my dogs are in heaven... I expect I'll get them home and they'll sleep for a month.
Anyone ever taken care of a lot of dogs? Just did my first feeding, quite an adventure. I don't think I'll be turning on the TV the whole time I'm up here -- it's like a 24-hour run of Nature Channel stuff on wolves!
...Of course, I love them all. You could cut the sweetness with a knife around here. :)

I think dogs are great animals. Such enthusiasm for life they have. Enjoy your week. :D
My cats of course, would be panic-striken the whole time, so we won't be doing anything of the sort in the forseeable future.

Dogs are great - the more the merrier! (for short periods of time, that is)

7. I had three at the house tonight... |
|
Mine and the neighbors two. They're great friends and are each delightful in their own specific ways. Everyone crashed while I read DU until my partner came home. Then, around 9, their family came home and we took them over.
They are truly wonderful, loving, creatures.

I resent that use of my username :-)
Then again, I'm outnumbered by Marie's cats, and they just started (again) the Marie Memorial 500, where Barney (30 lbs) is getting chased by Maggie (10 lbs) from one end of the apartment to the other at full speed. After a crash / bang from the bedroom, Maggie is getting chase by Barney; after a THUD (Maggie hit the glass door), the chase repeats. Buttons is on the couch watching the whole thing.

That cat desperately needs a diet...unless he's a lynx.

He's a Short-haired American cat....
Who am I kidding, he's a mutt. He's on a diet but doesn't know it so NOBODY tell him :-) He keeps checking out what sites I'm viewing, so if he asks, I was at IAMS and PetCo. :-)

I only have one, a Rottweiler, but if I could, I'd have a houseful.
