Squeech music live in Boston
Goat River Productions is pleased to announce that sax hero Ken Field will be joining our own Squeech and Tim Mungenast for a brief set of free improvisation, opening for Mill City Trio's CD release party.

Two bands of seasoned scene veterans!

SATURDAY, APRIL 8th at the LILY-PAD (former site of
the Zeitgeist Gallery, which moved down the street)
1353 Cambridge Street, Inman Square, Cambridge
www.lily-pad.net

7:00 to 7:30 p.m.--Ken Field (Birdsongs, Revolutionary Snake Ensemble), and friends reprise their 2005 get-together that became the innova label's recent release, No Such Animal (http://www.innova.mu/artist1.asp?skuID=251) .
When you combine one man from Birdsongs of the Mesozoic, one man who recorded and toured with Cul de Sac, and one man from the far reaches of the Goat Nebula... things could get interesting.

AND THEN the Mill City Trio take the stage to play everything from THEIR NEW CD, plus some brand new material. This oughta be a hot one, kidz! Come early and stay for the whole thing!

Admission is $10.
For more info, please visit www.lily-pad.net.

2. Cool, my son used to work at zeitgeist
Did a radio show for them for one school year and also worked on setting live sound for shows.

Good luck on the show.

3. Thank you
That would have been in their original location, the art gallery on Broadway? Because that's when they had their own radio studio, if I remember right. But that was less suitable for musical events-- performers had to work around the artworks. Plus the later venue had a really good piano donated to them, which it occurs to me to wonder whether it's still there.
