My wife and I are in process of moving from Lafayette, LA. I'm already teaching in Belleville, IL. Anyhow, after getting all our Rita repairs and other longstanding stuff taken care of--and letting my art teaching wife finish out her school year--she had the first meeting w/ lady interviewed in link and they had a long visit.

She retold story in article re: Raushenberg's mom using his paintings to board up windows for Andrew in, what, 1992? Long after he was a name, had a career retrospective at MOMA, etc. (Makes the FEMA tarps look like a bargin, I suppose.)

Anyhow, curious news from darkstar manor I thought I'd share. Maybe Ms. Begnaud will loan us some of her brothers work to swanky up the place....
