What’s up with CSI and light switches? |
|
You would think with all that accumulated IQ that one of would know how to turn on the lights. But nooooo! They process the crime scene in the dark using only a flash light. There is no telling what they would find if only they knew how to flip a light switch.

1. Actually, there is a reason for that. |
|
If the lights are off when they arrive at a scene, many CSIs want the lights left off, so they can look at it exactly as it was found. After they've done that, then they'll turn on the lights. Seeing a crime scene "as is", including whether the lights are off or on, can sometimes tell them things they might miss if they turned lights on/off.

2. Yeh, while they're examining those tiny hairs they're gonna extract DNA |

from, they don't see the severed hand lying on the floor, in the dark, next to them, that has the killer's name engraved on the ring, LOL.
