It's both! :D
it's a Tiktaalik, a newly discovered fossil fish that is a bridge between ocean and land creatures. And the dude is Charles Darwin

Seriously, they said that set of dialogue at LEAST 20 times :D
and actually, I read it while I was supposed to be working, so you could say I was waiting for my supervisor, so I could hide the book

28. An observation of mine once... |
|
was that the TV show "X-files" had many similarities with "Waiting for Godot".
Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of the show. But, it sometimes struck me that way.
Am I wrong?

Ours was an all-female student version at the University of Maryland.
It was a fun part.

I played Pozzo in a community theater version... we had great discussions among ourselves, led by the director, before rehearsals picked up steam. It's really a brilliant piece of angst. :-)

39. I once saw a live version of the play. |
|
It was played as comedy. This was at the American Repertory Theatre in Cambridge. Mark Linn-Baker played one of the pair. And though I didn't know him at the time, I believe Tony Shaloub was also in that production (as Pozzo).

Sort of. Except that you can easily do it anytime you like in the privacy of your own home. Or something.
