Anyone able to help with RAZR phone text msg with picture attached?

A friend sent a picture attached to a text message - or maybe an email message - I'm not sure - to my razr. On the phone's desktop, I see the "new text" icon - the envelope with the pencil.

In my Message Inbox, the normal new message icon (sealed envelope) is different - the icon is a sealed envelope with what looks to be a clock face in the upper right corner.

When the cursor is on this message, the option button does not say 'read', but 'details' instead. The details it gives me are: sender, subject, size, expires date, and received date.

Back in message inbox, with the picture-message selected, hitting the menu button (uppermost-center on the keypad) gives me the option to 'download'. I did this, and don't see any effect. Well, except the option to download isn't there any more.

That's about all the info I can think of. How do I get the #$%$$#^$# pic off of this message?
