Hey, GOPisEvil, how you holding up in the hot weather? Hey, LynneSin, we were supposed to get together when? Hey everybody, hope you're having a great morning so far.

I don't check in at lunchtime anymore because I go home for lunch. So no more lunchtime questions.

I've hardly checked in before or after work because they have definitely thrown me right into the fire here, and I usually just get right to it, and then work up to the very last second before I have to relieve my nanny.

But I really like it so far. It's turning out to be just what I hoped.

Anyway, just wanted to say a quick "Hello."

I love my new job. I'm very busy. No training to speak of. But i feel pretty comfortable. They're paying me to take the lead, provide direction, so I haven't been waiting around. I'm surprised at my confidence. I love my boss. And everyone who works here is nice. I go home and see my baby at lunch time, I don't have to rush out the door in the morning. I haven't been on the subway since 4/8. It's pretty awesome.

Just not sure when I get my first paycheck. I really need it.
