I love the sound of loons. I have this sound/water fountain that my son

bought me and one of the sounds is of loons. So peaceful and haunting. Other sounds are of wind chimes and ocean waves. Love it!

I can't hear that word without thinking of Katherine Hepburn in "On Golden Pond." ... That sure is a pretty sound.

I sometimes play on my computer with my lake wallpaper. There are no loons in northern Cal.
