George Michael questioned in hit-and-run

http://www.gay.com/news/article.html?2006/04/18/1

George Michael is once again being investigated by police, this time in connection with a Sunday hit-and-run crash involving three other cars.

(SNIP)

Witnesses said the singer was at the wheel of his $105,000 Range Rover when it hit a grey Ford Fiesta near his home in Highgate, in north London. They said that he then kept on going, hitting a Peugeot and a white Rover.

Instead of stopping, the Rover sped off.

A witness told London's Daily Mirror, "He didn't look too good for that time on a Sunday morning."

The Daily Mirror also reported that Michael has contacted the owners of the cars and is making arrangements to compensate them for the damage.

This is Michael's second police investigation since February, when he was found slumped at the wheel of his car near Hyde Park Corner in possession of cannabis. The pop star was given a police caution in that incident, a British form of no-contest plea that could jeopardize any future travel to the United States.
