I told Dennis Kucinich that I love him.
I just posted about the DK event over in P&C, but I thought I'd drop by here to tell you all what a dork I am. As he was leaving today's event I got his attention, took him by the hand and said "I just love you!" Then I stood there for a second or two and thought, "Wow, now what do I do?"

Anyway, it was great to meet Dennis Kucinich. He's a very gracious person. He transmits a lot of energy. I was a little star-struck.

3. Reality is what we make it.
During primary season I operate almost solely under the principle that what you pay attention to will grow, so pay attention to the good stuff. I think Dennis Kucinich represents the most good stuff, so I’m paying attention to him.

I am not afraid that if we nominate Kucinich that he will have poor chances against the shrub. I think that he would win. I also think that whomever wins the nomination, our responsibility is the same—to work hard to evict this fraudulent administration.

But that’s a discussion for another forum. This is the lounge where we talk about looooove.

;-)

precisely
one person at glance may not seem like much but that person will tell people. Join up. Always in need of more people. First step is joining if you like the ideas.

5. Well it was two encounters
He was near where people were selling campaign stuff and all, and I was like Congresman Kucinich thank you for all you've done, then the second and more memorable encounter was when I went outside and saw this guy talking to him, and that guy was my dad, he was talking to Dennis about me, and I came up behind Dennis, and my dad is like here he is, and Dennis is like hi John, and I forget the rest. It was a great experience.

23. I know how you feel.
When I saw him in person I felt like a star struck fan.
I actullay cried while he spoke.
It one of his many strong points, that he can bring out such passion in people.

than meeting the candidate you most admire close up. The wonderful thing about this primary season is just that.

14. I met Dennis at our local Dem Club Holiday Party Tonight.
I said I admired his speech to the Florida convention. He said, "Yeah." My wife said, "Thank you for coming." He said, "Yeah." I was kind of touched by his awkwardness.

17. I love Dennis the K too
Although I'm a Deanie, he really touches my little commie heart :loveya: As leftist candidates go, I like him so much better than, say, Nader; he's got real experience and real plans.

to tell him that your mother loves him, too. ;-)

That's OK. I'm sure I'll get my chance to look like a blubbering fan. Will I forget to tell him that my daughter has already professed her love? We'll see.
