Prog Rock fans -- I got to see David Gilmour today

My best friend works for The Tonight Show and my sister is in town visiting, so I got tickets for us to go today. David Gilmour was the musical guest and played two songs on the outdoor stage.

He did a song off his new album (I don't know the name, I don't have the album yet.), and then Jay Leno asked him if he was going to do another song and he said, "Yes...'Wish You Were Here'." That just happens to be my favorite Pink Floyd song! He had Richard Wright with him on keyboards and David Crosby and Graham Nash singing backup.

I got to see Pink Floyd in '94 up in British Columbia. FANFUCKINGTASTIC.

Sure wish I was there, at the Kodak. Glad you were able to see it!

I had their roadies in my taxi in 1987. I missed driving the band by 12 feet.

I'll have to see if I can find a rerun of the Tonight Show tonight. I'd love to see that.
