Why do these look like they're spinning & which way do they spin for you?

1. Cool, they still spin even with one eye closed

If you stare at one they don't spin

so only during a shift

they appear to spin clockwise

the center one does not seem to spin

If not, it may have something to do with the screen refresh rate.
