My feet are 10.5" long, 4.45" across. So I'm a 10.5 EEE shoe size.
How come my feet will sometimes fit better in a 9.5 EEE shoe or at other times a 11.0" shoe? They make standards, so why won't they conform?

4. See what country the shoes were made in. |

I have the same trouble with pants and shirts. I buy what I think are the same shirts (brand & style and off thesame display)in different colors but the blue ones come from country A and the white ones from B and the green ones from C and they all fit differently.

loosely translated-as evidenced by these replies. I think that it generally goes by the price of the shoes-the less you pay, the less you get. That's how it goes with women's clothing anyway, lol. There really isn't an "official" standard....oh yeah, and your feet tend to swell as the day goes by-so no shoe shopping in the afternoon, lol. Glad to see you posting again, BTW! :bounce:

8. Shoe sizing is driving me crazy..... |
|
I just bought my THIRD pair of shoes on Ebay that don't fit! Between European sizing and the vagaries of American sizing, I no longer have any idea what my shoe size is.
I swore never to buy shoes on Ebay again, and went out this afternoon to a few shoe stores. Couldn't find what I want even if I wanted to pay the prices, which I don't. So I'm back on Ebay contemplated another attempt, because I do need shoes!
I believe shoe sizing went to hell in this country when most cheap shoes started to be made in other countries.
Thanks for letting me rant!!

10. all companies do their own sizing |
|
Please go by the fit and not the size... Tod's are very expensive, but you would find their medium might fit you very nicely.
