I can see him playing a few other bad guys in future action movies... I'm trying to think of a good Spider-Man, Superman or Batman villain he could play.

I thought the rest of the cast did well, too:
I always like Ving Rhames, plus Keri Russell did well in a small part (didn't recognize her until later, though), and Cruise's wife (Monahan?)... and Laurence Fishburne. Maggie Q is a lovely woman, too, and I can see her in a few action roles.
