It's 8:07. I'm taking bets on when the child will fall asleep. |
|
She's currently in the bathroom, sitting on the potty (even though she claimed not to have to go), screaming for Mommy (who I am not; I live with her daddy), after having played all day with her friend. (She's three and exhausted.)
She usually takes an hour from start to finish to settle down and fall asleep.
Any takers?

3. No -- by "mommy," in this context, she means she's lost the argument. |
|
(In this case, it's the "I'm not sleepy and I don't need to brush my teeth and I don't need to go potty" argument.)
When she misses her mom (who she's with during the week), she's pretty articulate about it.

5. 8:50 update...I can hear her dad reading "The Hobbit," which means |
|
she's not "actively" getting read to anymore (that's more age-appropriate stuff) -- she's probably asleep or close to it.
