I am now a registered organ and tissue donor
Registered with the state of California today... and put the little donor sticker on my driver's license.

If this is something you have considered doing, please do so. It's "pro-life" in the REAL sense of the phrase. :-)

4. I've been registered as an organ donor since I was 16.
Did it when I got my first driver's license. (Not like I'll NEED them at the point where that becomes an option, anyway...)

7. Same here
But never had to register before in the three previous states I have held licenses. Used to just involve declaring it at the DMV and getting a sticker. This registration process, although very simple and doable online, was easy to put off. So I am back on track.

5. That is really good, my dear Zomby......
Have you ever given your blood, or platelets?

That's something that you can do now...

I'm giving my platelets every month at the Torrance Red Cross center.....

6. I'm an organ donor as well
The state of Ohio asks you that when you get your license renewed. I also have a psychiatric problem and I'm going to donate my brain to my local state univerity's school of medicine in the hopes that research on my brain might lead to a better understanding and possibly a cure for psychotic illnesses.

10. You can't take your organs with you to heaven
and I doubt you'd need them in hell, is what I figured!

Way to go! It's a good thing, as Martha says. :) (and, it really is)

12. It's against my religion to donate any part of myself for post-mortem use.
I need my body in tact so I can rise from the grave and feast on the brains of the living.

21. me toooooo
... I do so hope I die before they start claiming my parts though..... (odd skepticism seeping out... sorry)

I'm glad I avoid thinking about the details... as then, I really wont feel it (but being gay, they'll probably reject all my parts for fear of anything irrational)
