Is there such a thing as a "genius" vibe?
So, last night, I'm randomly playing some crazy-ass board game in the study lounge with some friends as well as some people I didn't really know (at the time). The game was Cranium, where having a mastery of random facts is a plus. Anyway...shortly into the game, the girl on my team (who was someone I didn't know) calls me a "genius." Now, the truth is, by all standards, I am of higher than average intelligence, but last night, I had done absolutely nothing to demonstrate that was anything other than middle-of-the-road average 2.0 GPA college student (and quite frankly, beyond knowing how to spell "martini," I had done nothing to show that I wasn't a complete idiot). So what gives? Can people sense your intelligence just by being within five feet of you? And why can't I do that? x(

Also, one of the other girls kept flirting with me. She was cute, but definitely not my type. Damn you, laws of irony, damn you. x( Bastid. :grr:

I don't think I'm quite ready to go out and start dating again yet. I'd kind of like to get the school year over with and just start fresh in the fall.

When she said "genius," did it suggest "moron?" ;)

if someone is "sharp", so to speak, by a certain sparkle in the eye. You know, like Bill Clinton has. The opposite would be the eyes of George W. Bush, for example. Does anybody here know what I'm talking about? Or, does this just sound weird? I've noticed it in highly intelligent people. So, there are some things people might perceive that others don't notice. Who knows? I also think, though, she might have been flirting with you.
