In small companies, you work with families, small business owners and I certanly now know why some of them started their own business---they could not work with anyone else, lol. Plus, the structure in some of them is out of wack...if the owner is your boss and the owner throws something at you, you are pretty much fucked.... This is a major faceless corporation and I hope that I get it!
