CATFIGHT!! Denise Richards and Heather Locklear

I happened to see this while waiting for some idiot writing a check at the grocery store. This was on the cover of THREE magazines/tabloids.

Big doings I guess.

Seems that Locklear dumped Richie Sambora either after he slept with Denise Richards or after he did because she had dumped him. David Spade and Charlie Sheen (nasty divorce with Richards) are in this too.

I feel very unclean now.

Until recently, actresses Denise Richards and Heather Locklear were the best of friends.
But now People magazine is reporting that the two stars, who are both going through divorces, have fallen out.

Richards, 35, is embroiled in a bitter divorce with actor Charlie Sheen, 40. It seems that she has been dating Heather Locklear's ex, Richie Sambora, after photos of the couple kissing the Bon Jovi were leaked to the press. She has spoken out about the affair, saying, "Unfortunately, our friendship had to dissolve and I'M sad about that. The last thing I would want to do is create a media frenzy like this, especially as I'M trying to get through a divorce."

Oscar-winning Taiwanese director Ang Lee has hit out at claims by the media that he criticised Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi, a news report said.

Lee said the reports in the Chinese media distorted his words, compelling him to apologise to Zhang, a posting on the Chinese news website Sina.com said on Friday.

Newspapers in Hong Kong and Taiwan reported earlier that Lee had criticised Zhang as "having poor sitting posture" while filming Lee's Oscar-winning martial arts epic Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon several years ago.

The Chinese media has been buzzing recently with reports of verbal sparring between Lee and Zhang.

18. I read a rather lengthy article about that in Star magazine yesterday.

(Give me a break - I was on the treadmill at the gym and the reading material was rather sparse)

Anyway, it's possible that Denise Richards was doing the naughty dance with Richie Sambora even BEFORE Heather Locklear filed for divorce (which was allegedly because of some hanky panky pictures exchanged via email between Richie and their former assistant), and that Denise encouraged Heather to file for divorce because all men are pigs. Or something like that. Or they didn't start sleeping together until after Heather filed for divorce, which is still icky but not quite as icky as sleeping with your best friend's husband before they separate.

Anyway. I don't think Charlie Sheen is as bad as Denise Richards says he is. My view of Richie Sambora has been permanently colored. I don't think much of a "best friend" who sleeps with her friend's husband at all, let alone while they are still married.

I like Heather Locklear. I've always liked Heather Locklear, so I guess I'll be getting one of those Team Locklear t-shirts, this year's answer to last year's Team Aniston and Team Jolie t-shirts.

Really.

Well...not quite. I did read about fashion items, Ashlee Simpson's nose job, the Botoxing of several over-40 celebrities and whether or not Nicole Kidman is allowed to spend much time with her children.
