So what are you getting/doing for Mom for Mother's Day |
|
For mine, a 2 lb. box of See's candy, a card, and a bouquet of roses from my rose garden. But most importantly, the whole family is coming here to see her for the afternoon.

1. My mother isn't speaking to me right now. |
|
She's getting a night's stay up in Traverse City.

2. My mom is on vacation, but before she left I got her a book and a card. |
|
She hates when I spend money on her, so I have to give a gift, but not spend too much. :)

I got her one of the pricier cards this year. And as a joke my SO put a $1 in it. Plus he drew her a picture.

4. Breakfast with my mom, late lunch with my inlaws... |
|
And then home by probably 6. I actually can't wait to hang out with my inlaws most of the time, but I really don't like going to Kingfisher to see my mom. I just feel so oppressed and I'm still kinda keeping myself out of reach of my mom because of all the pain she's caused since I was a child. She's mellowed and is actually kind of fun and I like her now, but I just can't let myself get to close. I'll send her flowers, have breakfast with her and then leave. Duckie
