There are bugs on me!!!

Ok, copycat thread, I know...

But every time I try to walk out of a store things start beeping! It happened at two different stores today, and I hadn't even bought anything!

1. That's the point, when you don't buy, and just remove the items,

the things are supposed to go beep.

2. I bought a pair of jeans and the security tag was sewn in to th3m,

they neglected to advise me of that little fact, much less remove it. I set the darned alarms off all over the place.

4. But I didn't have anything with me!

I wasn't even carrying a cellphone! I was wearing sandals, so no metal sneaker-eyelet things...nothing metal in my pockets...

At the first store, I went back through 4 times and it kept beeping, and the guy said they had to get one of those metal-detector things, and as soon as he said that, it stopped beeping! ...0_0

5. Did you have your car keys/automatic lock with you?

I had taken my bike. The only thing that could have set it off in 2 different stores, multiple times in each, would be...

well, nothing. I don't even have any fillings in my teeth.

6. I understand. I meant that I was actually wearing the pants, days later.

It was quite confusing, because nothing went off when I left the store that I bought them in. It didn't go off when I went back into that store to ask about it (great security, huh?) either. I narrowed it down to the pants because while my wife was shopping somewhere, I stood by an unused door and put everything I was carrying to the test :)

3. Actually, there ARE bugs on me

I found a tick on my hair and a tick on my back this week. If it happens again, I'm filing a bug report at work.
