2. "her resentment at his superior fame" |
|
Um, why marry a former member of the biggest band in the history of music if you can't handle their popularity and fame?

3. And here is how it happened.... |
|
Wednesday morning at five o'clock as the day begings Silently closing her bedroom door Leaving the note that she hoped would say more She goes downstairs to the kitchen clutching her hankerchief Quietly turing the backdoor key Stepping outside she is free...
(couldn't resist -- and, of course, Paul will be fine)

7. She was on Martha Stewart's show one day |
|
and she was so incredibly brittle--she is the first person I have ever seen who made Martha seem like a warm, earth mother type.

20. Wow! That is saying a lot; I went to a Paul McCartney concert |
|
a few years back. What an entertainer! Anyhow, Heather was in the audience and looked as bored as can be and just so distanced from the whole thing.

Let them move on with their lives as they see fit. This obsession with famous people is just sad.
On the other hand, I did click on this thread so what does that say about me? I guess everyone's a hypocrite in the end.

15. I think there's a difference in this couple, who were high -profile... |
|
activists together, and, for example, Britney Spears, who endangers her baby in an improper carseat, or Nicole Kidman becoming engaged -- two stories I wouldn't think of posting here. We'll no longer have these two people working together for various causes, and maybe that's news to some here.

|
one's wife" as though this were somehow a bad thing.
anybody know if there is an equvalent word for being "foolishly devoted to one's husband", as I could not find one.

She still acts a bit. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0038870/bio She's almost more famous for running a cake-making business in Britain these days.

19. I self-deleted. I'm ill and grumpy today... |
|
and got in a little snit because so many were so offended that I posted this story about "celebs" they don't care about. I saw this couple not only as celebrities, but as activists for causes many of us believe in. I assume the post was alerted in LBN, and sent to the Lounge -- making it possibly the first story from the Washington Post Foreign Service, running as a major story on the WP, to be relegated to the Lounge.
