I remember when I was in grade school (about 100 years ago). It was a VERY Catholic school, and every once in a while there's be a rumor going around that the end of the world was coming. It was never next year, next month or even next week; it was always TOMORROW! And there would be a specific time; like 2:30. We would all (kids and adults) flock to confession. You could be standing in line for hours.
When I think about it now, it's hilarious. Back then, it was terrifying.
