Mine was autographed by 1968 World Series Hero Willie Horton.


He was sitting behind me at a Tigers game a few years ago. :)

....and I got a ball autographed by Sparky Anderson once for progdad.

and one from Michael Jordon from when he played in the minors.

Plus a softball. My son has a baseball he signed.

We've also got an autographed Ernie Banks ball.

It's a catcher's mitt, and he wrote his name on it, like players do with their equipment.

Last day of the California League season, 1985. He'd won the "fans' choice" award, and to go with that I gave him a 16x20 photo of him making a tag at home. After the game, I was walking to my truck and he hollers, "Hey, Dave!" I turn around and he goes "Have a souvenir," and here comes the mitt flyin' at me.

5. I have a baseball signed by Hank Aaron

My father took me to a Braves game in 1971 and Hank was signing autographs before the game.

He was signing autographs (for free) about 10 years ago at a local minor league park. I have a bunch of other autographs as well.

I have an autographed photo of Bob Gibson...he also posed for a photo with me, although I have no idea where that went it's probably in an old shoe box in the closet (I was about 10 at the time)
