It is going to be interesting to say the least. She is the sole beneficiary of his estate because she forced him to change everything into her name when her mother died and after he had his stroke, but guess who gets to lay out the $10,000 for the funeral? C'mon. Guess.

3. We already checked with an attorney. He would have had to give

a deposition and obviously that isn't going to happen. We actually did have something in the works, but we didn't expect him to go so soon.

He was damned funny. Some of the stuff I am going to say in the eulogy tomorrow is going to have people peeing themselves.

My :loveya: 's sister recently convinced their elderly father to deed his house over to her. Sparks flew once the other siblings learned about it and the wrong was righted. My :loveya: is the executor of the estate (which isn't worth much) and is now maintaining tight control to ensure that it is divided among the four siblings.

Good luck tonight and tomorrow. Wakes and funerals are not fun events, even without the maniac SIL.

My MIL, my mom, my brother's wife (16 months after giving birth :cry:) my dad and now my FIL.

My kids have been through enough without this PITA creating problems for us.

Maybe I'll get drunk and puke on her.

I went through this 5 months ago when my mother died. Except I didn't have your SIL.

Funerals are priced out of control. But you have to do them in respect of the deceased.

My sister and I had shared control of my mother's money, so my mother's account paid for her funeral. And readying the burial plot, which...because she was being buried above her mother who died in 1914...had to have lots of work done on it. $2,700 worth.

Stay strong thoughout this...I know you will.
