A friend came over who's losing his mind. Wow! |
|
It was so wierd. He was talking about all the drugs he was taking And then he kept asking about what it would feel like crashing into a semi. What a great evening!

He's married. He''s really not my responsibility. But I do worry about him.

He was asking for help, whether he will ever admit it or not. It IS your responsibility.

My moms step-sister was like that at Christmas .. She said some dude was stalking her and watching her have sex with another guy .. blah blah blah ..
Best part she mooches off other guys though she has a job but according to my uncles wife that is ok because she has a job ..

one of my friend's exes took a lot of drugs and tried to commit suicide by wrecking her car
she survived but serious damage
she turned out to have paranoid schizophrenia and it does not play nicely w. the drugs she was taking (prescription speed from some dr. feelgood "obesity" doctor)
i kind of hope you didn't allow him to drive home
it's a hard situation
one time my friend took the girl's keys to stop her from driving while wasted and she call the police to report that he'd taken her keys, they came out and said that legally he had to return her keys but that they would be waiting to arrest her if she actually tried to drive
now there's a real great evening right there
as a happy note she has in recovery for a number of years and is apparently doing pretty OK as long as she stays on the proper medications altho she'll never be able to work
so not a terribly tragic disaster like it could have been

yet say he's "not my responsibility" Honestly, you DO need to call someone. His wife, family, ..anyone. He needs help. Don't not act on this, you may regret it.
