I used Norton up until 2005, but had a persistent virus problem it could not whack. I switched to Panda Titanium, but since downloading the newest vesrion, am having problems with Windows Media Player... I don't know if it is the software's fault, but problem occured right after the download.
Can anyone recommend a software that they LUV, that works really well, that is the... cat's meow? I am dong an online virus-scan (Trend Micro's "Housecall") as I type.
Thanx.

1. Symantec just announced a huge gaping exploit in their software |

Big security hole in Norton's Internet Protection Suite, so don't use that.
Try Mcafee's.

I believe it to be the best anti viral software going right now. I use it, it acts as a firewall plus virus detector, I have the url, but it's way across the room and I don't want to get up right now. I'm a lazy bastard and my old momma cat is sleeping on my lap, so type in avg personal and it'll get you there. The personal is free, they sell a version with all the bells and whistles that's better.

get it @ grisoft.com.
Click on the AVG products link. As far as spyware protection, I suggest a program called Counterspy to my clients. Get it @sunbelt-software.com.
