12. John Heard, of course!
Nobody plays a preppy down on his luck better than John Heard. He plays Cassie's alcoholic lawyer dad on CSI: Miami. And he played a crooked cop on "The Sopranos". Plus, he was in the wonderful "Cutter's Way" with Jeff Bridges. (You really should see that movie).
And he was in one of my cult favorites....that I can't find....back in the '70's. "Head Over Heels" with....Mary Beth HURT. (triple word score!)

15. John Hurt is a terrific British character actor
He played Winston in "1984" and Caligula in "I, Claudius." Lots and lots of other roles. He was the guy that the alien creature burst out of in "Alien."
