Tell me about a song that brings back really happy happy memories
Me?

"Just a Gigalo" by David Lee Roth.

Yeah, not kidding - that guy.

tt was the end of my freshman year of college and my friends told me about this great party at Millersville University and I went along with the girl who was going to be my roommate next year in college.

So with no finals to worry about about 6 of us roadtripped to Millersville and met up with some people we knew at the college who would take us to this big blowout party. I forget the name of it but they would have it in this nearby field where it was all BYOB and everyone would bring tents and camp out for the day.

Well there was 6 of us in this station wagon along with 2 kegs of beers and a ton of goodies. Once we got to MU, we picked up like 5-6 more people and they we all somehow crowded into this station wagon that I don't think had more than 4cylinders to it. It wouldn't have been so bad except we had to go up this massive hill to get to the party so you can imagine how fast a 4cylinder station wagon loaded with 12 people, two kegs of beer and a ton of supplies would move.

But we had so much fun and as we were going up this hill "Just a Gigalo" came on. Knowing that we were holding up traffic as we inched along at 10mph, everyone started singing along to the song and the top of their lungs.

All I know is thank god we spent the night there that goodness because none of us could drive!

2. Royal Crescent Mob's Happy at Home
I love that song's opening lyrics: "I heard that song you liked on the radio, and it reminded me of the night you played it five times in a row." Reminds me of a great date in college that ended up at the other person's apartment. She played some Cure song half a dozen times. The other parts of the date that were so much fun would get the thread locked.

4. Head Over Heels, Tears for Fears
It came out right at the same time I met who I thought was the man of my dreams and the love of my live (although it turned out he wasn't). I was literally head over heels in love and it seemed like every time I heard that song he would call.

When I hear it now it just reminds of me of how giddy and happy I was with the anticipation of the whole thing.
