33. even though I have a college degree I have no employable skills

outside of kitchen work. I work a shit job barely making my bills every week and my partner of 10.5 years and I recently called it quits. I have to replace the power steering/air conditioning belt in my car AGAIN. Just had a new one put on last week and it is squealing AGAIN. I have about .45 cents to my name until the fifth which means I will be asking my mom for help with cash AGAIN. She is getting tired of it since I am 37 years old. big sigh and a hearty damn it! to go along with the whining.

But I adopt older animals, from rescue, so I should know what I'm getting into. I have other bills, also a problem, but I had a horrific vet bill from the Animal Emergency Clinic, when my dog needed emergency care over the weekend, and I don't regret it, but this was unexpected, and I paid it, but everything else suffers, as a result. I also have too many bills. I sympathize, my friend.;(

My wife & I can never seem to find jobs that are close together... I'd love for both of us to have a short commute.

But, if I get contacted about a job in Stamford, CT or Boston, Mass, she seems to get contacted by ones in Pittsburgh or New Jersey.
