One of my dogs stayed out in the back yard longer than usual last night, and when she got back inside, hubby and I kept smelling mint. Hubby bent down to pet her, and she had peppermint scent all over her face and neck. She must have gotten curious about our herb garden (we've got peppermint plants there) and rubbed her face and neck in it. She was really proud of it too!
She's a real scent hound. (This is the same dog who goes ape over fabric softener sheets and clean laundry.) Believe me, she's rolled in MUCH worse than peppermint, and I'll take peppermint any time! :D She still has a fairly strong minty smell this morning. :P

:yoiks: Not quite the same as mint...
Our dog also likes to roll in rabbit/duck/goose/whatever poo and bring it home. :wow: :puke: At least this time, it was mint!
