I walked into a bar this evening for the first time in 23 years.
A client of mine, hereinafter referred to as "Karaoke Boy" had his first BIG GIG this evening at a redneck Texas bar in Sachse. Naturally his computer (with a hard drive containing several thousand formatted karaoke songs) would not boot up, so I got the plaintive "Heeeelllllp meeeeeee!!" call out of the blue. I dropped everything (not literally) and dashed over to said bar, looked at the back of K. B.'s computer, and reached out to plug the monitor cable into the correct jack. I then booted up his machine and charged him one and a half hours wages for my time.

I wasn't even tempted by all the booze- the cigarette smoke was making me too ill. Perhaps I shoulda charged two hours?
