What would you do if you were in Amsterdam for a day?

I'd be torn. I'd probably buy some cheap grass/weed. But I wouldn't know what to do with it. Except possibly build a skirt out of it... :rofl:

2. I was in Amsterdam for a day, years ago,

wandered around aimlessly for awhile until it was time to catch a train, strolled along some canals, saw the red light district, and a guy tried to sell me hash in the train station. Interesting city. I'm planning to go back there later this year.

3. Go see the Van Gogh museum and the Heineken brewery.

I personaaly like oatmeal raisin or chocalate chip cookies, or brownies... But my chemo friend likes sugar cookies. They are pretty good.

But seriously, now that I'm an old married fart, I'd probably go to the Rijksmuseum and maybe a hash bar (yes, they have them). I'd avoid the redlight district. Maybe take a barge tour of the canals. Also the Hortus (botanical garden) is supposed to be pretty great. But mostly I'd eat well, drink some jenever (Dutch gin), check out some art, smoke a little bit of legal hash, and enjoy the company of my lovely young wife.

11. Just go walkabout

Explore. It's the best way to get a feel for a place. If it's rainy, then hit the museums.

I don't indulge, but they sell dog shit as hash. Real dog shit, as in out the back of a pooch. I was sitting in a square, and two blokes nearby were talking about selling it to dumb americans. Another time, the cops were arresting some grubby dealer. When searching his pockets, the cop pulled out something, sniffed, grimaced then tossed in the bushes.
