I remember being thrilled with 88K floppies - after paper tape & cassettes
Now:



What in the world am I doing with a terabyte of drive space? (and I don't even have everything mounted)

So tell me... upon reflection, what common aspect of your life shocks you?

6. Well, I always tried to convince myself that I had valid reasons, but I
think I should be slapped silly if I even say I need to buy another drive.

7. I have 320gb of storage and I thought I was doing reasonably well, haha.
Now I feel inadequate in my nerddom.

9. I should have put a little of it into a new laptop... that thing is about
6 years old and almost useless. I've gotten to the point where I just VNC/X Forward/FreeNX to one of the desktops

3. I put a new de-railer and tube on my bike today...
My left arm is in a cast. I'm a lefty. On a scale of lame to neat. I think it was fucking amazing.

4. nice work :) - I've been trying to beat my wheel into submission
I had it on the back of a trailer as I was moving, the trailer rolled down an incline and into a post that bent it pretty badly :)
