I just got back from the hospital and...

well, this is a little gross. Basically I have a kind of boil, located on an *extremely* sensitive part of my male anatomy. Unfortunately, it is still "compact" and needs to soak and be heated by a heating pad for a couple days, until I go back and have a doctor cut me open and drain it. Unfortunately every time I walk or stand or sit down it feels like I just got drop kicked in the nads. I am on pretty pain pills and antibiotics now.

4. I've Had Stitches "There"

Only I'm a girl. Imagine the worse places to have stitches after having a boil lanced, and my stitches were in an even worse place. Grossed out the doctor who put them in! So much sympathy...and empathy.

6. Don't...I repeat (IMO) let them drain it without knocking you out first.

Trust me. If it's even a teensy bit infected, the infection will eat up the lidocaine (sp) and it will hurt like nothing you've ever known. I've been through this a few times and it hurts...and any humane doc will knock you out.
